A rich history to fit his exceptional shoes
From 1968 to 1972, Robert Heschung, heir to the Heschung workshop, surrounded himself with the best technical advisors to develop Heschung competition shoes, a real achievement for the brand. The company became the official supplier to the French ski team at the 1968 Grenoble Olympic Games. Heschung sports shoes also won the Oscar for export thanks to their presence on the main markets (Europe, United States, Japan).
The beginning of a long series of collections
In 1990, the Alsatian brand began launching collections of Heschung men's shoes and Heschung women's shoes. When Pierre Heschung joined the company, he decided to reinterpret Norwegian and Goodyear footwear in the Heschung high-end shoe collections, combining beautiful materials, style and mastery of craft techniques. Each season, the company develops Heschung luxury shoes and basic models with a clever combination of materials and colours to ensure that these products are in keeping with the times without becoming obsolete. This marvellous adventure in top-of-the-range shoes continues today with Romain Heschung who is developing a new collection of Heschung shoes with his father.
Unlike designers who focus on the evolution of their designs, the brand follows the vintage trend, a fashion trend of today : the suits and styles of the 1960's, 1970's and 1980's are coming back in force these last few years and find their letters of nobility during the parades and shoots of the big names in fashion.
